"1006" came to the forefront of our program this summer after ultrasound data revealed with the release of the July Sire Evaluation that he had earned the status of No. 23 bull among ALL proven sires in the Angus breed for Ultrasound Ribeye Area. "1006" sons and daughters came across the scales this year also as some of the heavier calves thus prompting his Yearling EPD move from +63 to +88. Already known for his calving ease, his Birth Weight EPD declined to a minus 1.3 making "1006" a true "spread bull". Combining his ability to sire light birth weight calves that grow plus be able to grade makes this bull possibly one of the best sons of Rockn D Ambush to surface. He is a very smooth bull who walks out well on correct feet and legs. Commercial customers have used "1006" successfully on large heifer breeding projects.
