Riverbend New Dimension 4537 was Lot 2 of the March 19, 2005, Riverbend Ranch Genetic Edge Bull Sale. Like his full brother Riverbend New Dimension 4514, he has high rankings for antagonistic traits such as IMF. "4537" ranks in the top 1% for ultrasound REA and $G. A full sister, VAR Blackbird 4155, sold as the $50,000 feature heifer calf of the 2004 Vintage Angus sale. This same mating set a world record price for an embryo flush selling for $125,000 to The Grange Stud of Australia last summer. Riverbend New Dimension 4537 and his full brother Riverbend New Dimension 4514 offer as much industry-changing potential as any bulls that will sell in 2005.
Riverbend New Dimension 4537 currently records the 7th highest ultrasound REA EPD among all non-parent Angus bulls.
Davis Yr Blackbird 558H
The dam of Riverbend New Dimension 4537 has established herself as one of the most famous cows in the history of the Angus breed. A longtime leader for end product merit, 558H set a new breed record when she sold one-half interest through the 2004 Riverbend Female Sale for $260,000 to Mountain Meadow Cattle Company of Colorado. Her 99 calves evaluated by ultrasound record a phenomenal average ultrasound IMF ratio of 111 combined with an average ultrasound REA ratio of 105. An excellent source of carcass merit genetics, 558H ranks in the top 1% of all Angus dams for IMF and REA EPD.
